The pellet press consists of a hollow wedge body (7) with through-going circular holes in both wedge surfaces with a deviation of 5 to 89°, on which bearing bushes (6, 7) are mounted, in which the punch (2) and dies (5) rotate. The die (5) has a spherical recess on its face, into which a spherical body (1) placed in the wedge cavity fits. The die (5) has on the circumference of its face holes for the passage of pellets and the walls of the wedge cavity together with the surface of the spherical body (1) define a pressing chamber. In this press, the die (5) is coupled to the BOM (2) by shaped protrusions (14). These are formed at regular intervals on the circumference of the die face (2), fitting into shaped depressions (15) formed at regular intervals on the circumference of the die face (5). |
