Zusammenfassung:	A vaccine formulation for the treatment or prophylaxis of hepatitis, especially hepatitis B, infections is provided comprising the hepatitis antigen and a suitable carrier such as alum in combination with 3-O-deacylated monophosphoryl lipid A. Disclosed are also combination vaccines including one or more hepatitis antigens and at least one other component selected from a non-hepatitis antigen which affords protection against one or more of the following: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, Haemophilus influenzae b (Hib), and/or polio.
