description The fiber feed system, for an open-end spinner, has a dirt removal channel (8) as a hollow trunk forming a tube (11) which can be removed from the body (1) of the spinner. The tube has a side opening aligned with the ejection channel (7) for dirt separated from the sliver fibers. It is held in place in a sealed fit by a connecting frame (70) within the tube, behind the plane of the inner tube wall. The tube is held in place at the top and bottom, by laying surfaces at the body (1) of the spinner. The tube is a thin-walled profile tube, structured to lock in place at the spinner body sections, and with a variable cross section. The tube has a mouthpiece section (A) which transits into a center section (B), followed by a section (C) to alter the tube cross section to match the dimensions of the outlet section (D). The outlet end of the tube is coupled to a central suction system for the spinning machine. The mouthpiece and center sections (A,B) of the tube have a quadrilateral inner cross section, with an angled decrease towards the center. The transit section (C) reduces the inner cross section, and changes the quadrilateral shape smoothly into an oval, to match the oval cross section of the outlet section (D). The tube is locked in place to prevent it from becoming loose, by a pair of elastic bands (12) tensed against the tube surface, or by an adhesive to hold the tube in place in the spinner body.
