The characteristics of the dry layer of the paint mixture are good adhesion and abrasion resistance. Further characteristics of the mixture are low content of hazardous organic volatile matter, heavy metals and other substances that might negatively influence the growth of grass sod, or endanger health protection at work and environment in general. The base for the application of the paint can be any mowed and racked, dry and clean grass-seeded surface. The basic colour of the paint is white and can be shaded by addition of pigments or pigment pastes. The colour is applied in one or two layers by spraying, on smaller surfaces also with a long-hair paint roller or paint brush. Predstavljena inovacija opisuje okolju prijazno, disperzno premazno sredstvo na vodni osnovi za označevanje, markiranje ali barvanje travnatih površin. Predmet patentnih zahtevkov je sestava premaza in nizka vsebnost nevarnih snovi. Formulacija disperzije vsebuje izbrane disperzije polimerov in kopolimerov, kalcitna in silikatna ter pigmentna polnila kot osnovne komponente, a nizka vsebnost izbranih dodatkov: omakalo, dispergator in protipenilec premazu omogočajo zahtevane lastnosti. Značilnost suhegasloja premazne zmesi je dobra oprijemljivost in odpornost na drgnjenje.
