Based on measured values of a three-dimensional shape and position of a workpiece, the system guides the focus of the laser beam across the workpiece, changing at the same time also parameters of the laser working process, first of all the power and the speed of motion of the laser beam across the surface of the workpiece. Determination of position and shape of the workpiece is solved on the basis of application of an optical measuring device. The basic idea of the present invention lies in the execution of the optical measuring device, which is supported by the application of the laser working system for the needs of structured illumination in measuring the position and shape of the workpiece. V izumu predstavljen sistem za vodenje tridimenzionalnih laserskih obdelovalnih procesov resuje problem vodenja laserskega zarka pri laserski obdelavi v tridimenzionalnem obdelovalnem prostoru. Sistem na osnovi izmerka tridimenzionalne oblike in lege obdelovanca vodi gorisce laserskega zarka po obdelovancu, socasno pa spreminja tudi parametre laserskega obdelovalnega procesa, prvenstveno moc in hitrost gibanja laserskega zarka po povrsini obdelovanca. Dolocanje lege in oblike obdelovanca je reseno na osnovi uporabe opticnega merilnika. Osnovnaideja pricujocega izuma je v izvedbi opticnega merilnika, ki sloni na uporabi laserskega obdelovalnega sistema za potrebe strukturiranega osvetljevanja pri merjenju lege in oblike obdelovanca.
