A disinfectant/cleaner concentrate contained (by weight) 5.0% didecyl dimethylammonium chloride, 2.0% N,N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)-dodecylamine, 5.0% monoethanolamine (IIIa), 5.0% Genapol T250 (RTM; tallow fatty alcohol polyglycol ether with 25 moles ethylene oxide), 0.5% sodium metasilicate, 0.5% sodium carbonate, 2.0% Trilon M (RTM; trisodium methylglycine-diacetate; 40% solution) and water to 100%. A 1% aqueous solution of the concentrate reduced the Aspergillus niger ATCC 16404 count by 4.1 logarithmic units after a contact time of 15 minutes at 20 [deg]C, whereas a control composition without (IIIa) had no significant antimicrobial effect under the same conditions.
