Zusammenfassung: | Homogeneously waterproofed concrete is produced by adding an aqueous emulsion containing a hydrolysable alkoxysilane compound and optionally condensation products thereof to the fresh concrete mix containing water, inorganic and possibly organic components and then allowing the mix to harden. A process for the production of bulk-waterproofed concrete, in which a water-containing mixture of known inorganic components and possibly small amounts of organic components is treated during (or possibly after) its production with an aqueous emulsion containing an organo-silicon compound of formula (I) and optionally condensation products thereof, and then allowed to harden. R, R1 = optionally branched 1-3C alkyl; R3 = 1-20C (preferably 1-10C) alkyl or phenyl; a = 0 or 1; b = 1 or 2; c = 1-18; X = H, Cl, Br, I, NH2, SCN, CN, N3, NHR, N(R)2, N(R)3 or aryl (especially phenyl) if b = 1, or alkenyl (especially 1-6C alkenyl) if b = 2, or Sx (with x = 1-6) if b = 2 and c = 1-6, or any group if b = 2 and c = 1-12 (preferably 1-6) . An Independent claim is also included for concrete mixtures containing known inorganic and possibly organic components plus an aqueous emulsion as above. |
