| Zusammenfassung: | BIODEGRADATION OF OIL PALM FIBRE WASTEA method for biodegradation of oil palm waste by vermicomposting is provided. The method comprises the steps of providing oil palm waste and pre-treating the waste to form fibrous waste material; adding effective microbes to the fibrous waste and subjecting the waste to a pre-composting phase; adding earthworms to the pre-composted waste and subjecting the mixture to a vermicomposting phase; and adding a bioadsorbance material to the vermicomposting mixture.
