Clip for fastening standing seam metal roofs

The invention relates to a clip (1) for fastening standing seam metal roofs to a underlaying support structure. The clip (1) comprising a bottom plate (2) and a folding hook (3) arranged at right angle to the bottom plate (2) and having a post (4) at an upper end (5) of which are attached consecutively a first leg (10) and a second leg (11). The first leg (10) protrudes away from to the bottom plate (2) and forms an angle a of 20° to 85°, preferably 40° to 80°, most preferably 65° to 70°, and particularly preferred about 67.5°, to the post (4), and that the second leg (11) protrudes against the bottom plate (2) forms an angle β of 55° to 80°, preferably 60° to 75°, and most preferably 65° to 70°, and particularly preferred about 67.5°, to the first leg (10).
