description The invention is a roller housing in a rolling mill for screw milling. The roller housing contains a house (1) in which three spindles (3) are arranged that can turn on a longitudinal axis and move in a lengthwise direction. The side of each spindle (3) that is turned towards the milling zone is rigidly connected to a roller (4), which is equipped with a cone-shaped deforming surface. The geometrical central line of the roller (4) coincides with the spindle's (3) geometrical centre line and forms with a rolling axel (a-a) straight intersecting lines between which the angle (δ) for each roller (4) is essentially the same. Counter to the milling axel the angles (a-a) between the projections of each and every one of the rollers' (4) centre lines are essentially equal to 120 degrees. The roller housing of this invention is unique in that the shortest distance (e) between the straight intersecting lines varies between about 0.6 cm and 1.0 of roller's (4) maximum radius (R) in its minimum cross section through the roller's (4) deforming face. The radius (R) is chosen provided that the rollers' (4) deforming faces are not in contact with one another.
