description The present invention concerns a liner or process installation for surface coating of materials transported along same. The liner is designed for a very special type of powder paint which at a first point along the liner is applied to the material suspended in a continuous phase, preferably consisting of water. The continuous phase is then dried off at a second point, after which the actual paint particles at a third point are sintered together to form a continuous layer. It should be particularly noted in regard to this powder paint that, besides the binder, pigment and other conventional ingredients that make up a powder paint, it also contains a small amount of a soft, sticky polymer which, when the continuous phase is dried off, binds the other paint components to the surface in question so that the powder-bearing product can be handled even at this stage before the layer of paint is finally sintered together. This means that the liner can also be split into two independent parts; otherwise the liner's composition depends on the specific characteristics of the powder paint.
