Zusammenfassung:	An image producing system is provided which comprises a carrier material of fabric, paper, a felt or fabric pad impregnated with a color former solution, comprising a weakly volatile high boiling organic solvent having dissolved therein a color former and a color former deactivating substance, wherein the color former is an azo compound and a substrate which has incorporated therein or possesses at least one surface which is at least partially coated with a color former activating substance or system and a re-activating substance which counteracts the de-activating substance.
