Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: railway transport; repair of wheelsets. SUBSTANCE: method consists in submerged arc surfacing of worn out wheel flange. Wheel is set in position close to vertical and two wire electrodes are installed in its upper part in zone of flange base. Wire electrodes are fitted in intersecting planes. First electrode is installed at angle of 15 - 20 degrees and second electrode, at angle of 20-35 degrees to end face surface of wheel. First electrode is oriented in radial plane located at a distance of 50-60 mm From vertical plane of symmetry of wheel, and second electrode, in plane located at angle of 10-15 degrees and passing through upper part of flange base. In process of surfacing, burning of arcs in separate pools is provided and re-melting of metal applied by first arc by second arc is ensured. Surfaced layer is formed by five flat circular deposited beads welded one on the other. Preliminary heating to temperature of 200-300 C is carried out by passing electric current through flux holding device concentrically enclosing wheel tread surface. Device for realizing the proposed method has support with horizontal rod on which flux feed mechanism is secured, wire feed mechanism and inclined carriage on which surfacing torch position adjuster is secured. Position adjuster is made in form of combination of U-and T-shaped connected axles. Clamp connection of axles makes it possible to set surfacing heads at preset angles in intersecting planes and orientate torches in preset zone of flange surfacing. Изобретение относится к области ремонта и восстановления железнодорожного транспорта. Способ заключается в электродуговой наплавке под слоем флюса изношенного гребня колеса. Колесо ставят в положение, близкое к вертикальному, и в его верхней части в зоне основания гребня устанавливают два проволочных электрода в пересекающихся плоскостях. Первый электрод устанавливают под углом 15 - 20, а второй под углом 20 - 35к торцевой поверхности колеса. При этом первый электрод ориентируют в радиальной плоскости, отстоящей от вертикальной плоскости симметрии колеса на расстоянии 50 - 60 мм, а второй - в плоскости, расположенной под углом 10 - 15и проходящей через верхнюю часть основания гребня.
