Антибиотик ИНА 5812 по химическому строению является оригинальным линейно-циклическим гликопептидным соединением, активным в отношении грамположительных патогенов in vitro и высокоэффективным в опытах in vivo при экспериментальном лечении стафилококкового сепсиса у белых мышей. Предлагается новый штамм - продуцент антибиотика ИНА 55812 путем селекционного преобразования свойств почвенной культуры Streptomyces tendae.
