Настоящее изобретение относится к способу получения аминокарбоксилатов, исходя из соответствующих аминов. Согласно предлагаемому способу на первой стадии амин этоксилируют до алканоламина при температуре реакции в диапазоне от 30 до 100°С. На второй стадии образовавшийся алканоламин окислительно дегидрируют до аминокарбоксилата.
