Изделие защитной техники от радиоактивного излучения урана выполнено из механически обработанного обедненного урана или его сплавов с внешней изолирующей оболочкой в виде покрытия. Причем изделие выполнено из оборотного металла, а оболочка выполнена в виде цинкового покрытия толщиной 10-100 мкм, содержащего интерметаллиды урана и цинка с содержанием интерметаллида U2Zn17 не менее 0,01 мас.%.
