Содержащую молибден тяжелую фракцию эпоксидата промывают от побочных продуктов окисления раствором каустической соды. В образовавшийся отработанный щелочной поток добавляют лиганд для связывания присутствующего в нем молибдена в металлорганический комплекс и обрабатывают экстрагентом при температуре (1-1,18)Ткр и давлении (1,36-3,4)Ркр, где Ткр - критическая температура, а Ркр - критическое давление используемого экстрагента. Молибденсодержащие соединения осаждают из экстракта.
