Besides invention may be used in some other cases, when in process of operation it is required to create explosionproof environment. Method includes air compression in the first stage compressor and injection of the latter into gas generator combustion chamber, air burning with fuel in combustion chamber, cooling of gas inert to hydrocarbon medium and produced as a result of oxygen burning from air in heat-exchanging apparatus, direction of the latter to gas inlet of gas-booster pump, additional compression of inert gas with the help of flow liquid piston in chamber of gas-booster pump and direction of the latter to consumer in composition of gas-liquid mixture, at that air and fuel are supplied to combustion chamber in stoichiometric ratio, and optimal temperature mode on internal surface of gas generator combustion chamber walls is provided due to supply of cooled exhaust gas from internal combustion chamber into gas heat-exchanger installed on gas generator body. Device is described for realisation of method, which comprises compressor 1 of the first stage, internal combustion chamber 2, gas generator 3, unit of gas preparation 4, outlet of which by gas manifold 5 is connected to gas inlet of gas-booster pump 6 and further to consumer of high-pressure inert gas. Device is additionally equipped with system for maintenance of stoichiometric ratio of air and fuel flows with control units, and gas-air heat-exchanging apparatus 11, at that air channel of the latter on one side is connected to injection outlet of compressor 1 of the first stage, and on the other side - to air cavity of gas generator combustion chamber 3, and gas channel of heat exchanging apparatus 11 is connected to exhaust header of internal combustion engine 2. ^ EFFECT: facilitated start-up of gas-generator (which is especially critical in winter time of the year), optimised temperature mode on combustion chamber walls and provision of minimum fuel flow rate to maintain stoichiometric burning of oxygen from air. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg
