Zusammenfassung:FIELD: heating, drying. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention immediately deals with design of devices used for heating, drying and cooling bulk material and is to be implemented in such spheres as chemical industry, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and others. The disk-type device for thermal treatment of bulk materials consists of a housing with horizontally positioned disk-shaped heat exchangers coaxially arranged. The disks have outlet openings for discharge of the material being treated and central through-holes for the shaft insertion. Between the disks there are intradiscal chambers arranged containing scrape blades mounted onto the shaft. The outlet openings of adjacent disks are offset relative to each other in the direction opposite to that of the material flow. The device is equipped with at least a single vapour discharge manifold connected via socket pipes to the intradiscal chambers located mostly within the zone of intensive heating of the material being treated. The above socket pipes are positioned within the intradiscal chambers mounted on the side opposite to the outlet openings of the disk-shaped heat exchangers. ^ EFFECT: possibility of integrated thermal treatment of bulk materials without limitations conditioned by initial moisture content; reduction of capital investments and energy expenditures related to the thermal treatment process. ^ 7 cl, 3 dwg
