The invention describes also the bearing assembly incorporating a shaft running in gasostatic bearing, a chamber arranged in the bearing housing and holes made in the bearing bushing. Note that the proposed assembly comprises additionally a solenoid fitted on the shaft and, at least, more that one magnet located between the bearing bushing holes. ^ EFFECT: perfected design allowing smaller gas layer thickness variation, increasing bearing capacity and reliability of bearing assembly. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg
