Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to the industry of construction materials and can be used in making Portland cement. The method of making Portland cement clinker from industrial wastes involves loading the furnace charge - slag base into a smelting chamber, melting it, putting additives on the surface of the melt, fusion of the furnace charge, and running-off the obtained clinker. The slag used is oxidised waste slag from steel-smelting, with 2.5-3.5 basicity and content of iron oxides from 20.0 to 30.0% the weight of the slag. Additives are continuously put onto the surface of the melt. The additives used are alumina-containing wastes and a carbon-bearing reducing agent, with the following ratio of components of the furnace charge, in wt %: slag 90-95, alumina-containing wastes 4.0-8.0, carbon-bearing reducing agent 2.0-5.0. A skull smelting chamber is used, equipped with fuel-oxygen burners. The clinker runs-off through a tap hole, located on the side face of the housing the smelting chamber, 1.0-1.8 m lower than the surface of the melt, into a bucket, where it is blown with oxygen gas, compensating for content of ferric oxide. Before loading into the chamber, components of the furnace charge are heated using heat from the housing of the smelting chamber, extracted using a liquid-metal coolant. The by-product metal, obtained in the slag from reduction of excess iron oxides by the carbon-bearing reducing agent, is run-off from the chamber through a bottom tap hole. ^ EFFECT: reduced energy expenditure, increased cost/performance ratio and stabilisation of the clinker content. ^ 6 cl, 2 ex, 3 tbl, 1 dwg |
