Billet is processed with static pressing force, and impulse load is applied to it from hydraulic pulse generator that actuates the following burnisher gear wheel. External working surface of one reference wheel teeth is made of steel wire of circular section, segments of which are installed along the tooth and are fixed on ends of reference wheel teeth. External working surface of other reference wheel teeth is made of steel wire with circular section, which is bent and profiled according to teeth shape and is assembled in packet fixed on hub so that wire bars are located along tooth direction. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency, lower surface roughness parameter on teeth profiles, lower level of sound pressure in processing and improved quality. ^ 10 dwg, 1 ex, 1 tbl
