description | FIELD: motors and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump and compressor engineering and allows for reducing energy consumption for two-stage liquid-ring machines. Two-stage liquid-ring machine includes separated housings of the first and second stage. The housings are connected with junction pipe and accommodate wheels installed eccentrically. The first stage shaft crosses the hollow shaft of the second stage and coupled with it by reduction gear. The junction pipe is provided with T-joint where electromagnetic choke is installed, which is responsible for setting of gas phase direction. In addition, reduction gear is provided with electromagnetic coupling. Electromagnetic coupling and choke are controlled by the air-powered sensor located at the first stage inlet. The invention objective is the development of two-stage liquid-ring machine design capable of implementing two-stage vacuum pumping when the first stage operates in the initial phase and both stages operate in series in the following phase. ^ EFFECT: substantial reduction of energy consumption for vacuum pumping process. ^ 1 dwg |
