Jets are supplied along reservoir wall to one side or simultaneously clockwise and counterclockwise, so that axes of jets do not cross, at that fire-extinguishing substance is supplied with pressure that provides formation of ring from fire-extinguishing substance on reservoir wall. As fire-extinguishing substance foam of low multiplicity or water is used, and in addition to them fire-extinguishing powder, inertial gas, water steam are used; at that one or several types of fire-extinguishing substances are simultaneously supplied into reservoir. Method is implemented with the help of device with appropriate inlet unit of fire-extinguishing substance, with outlet into reservoir at one end and cover on the other, and one or more nozzles for supply of fire-extinguishing substances. Inlet unit is arranged in the form of prism with isosceles trapezoid on the basis, angle of incline of prism lateral facets, on which nozzles are fixed, is selected based on condition of jets direction along reservoir wall. Inlet unit is made from material with strength characteristics that exceed strength characteristics of reservoir top belt, and reservoir roof, cover of inlet unit and its fastening to the unit are made of material with destruction characteristics that are less than destruction characteristics of inlet unit walls and reservoir top belt. ^ EFFECT: increase of efficiency. ^ 8 cl, 8 dwg |
