The shaft accommodates also an unequal-rigidity ring fitted to get deformed in radial direction, i.e. to have outer diameter varied under centrifugal force effect, to ensure a friction contact with the plain bearing movable tapered bushing. Note that the said ring is a corrugated one furnished with recesses and ledges, the former being designed to rigidly fix the ring on the shaft and the latter accommodating the weights. ^ EFFECT: higher reliability and longer life, easier manufacturability and operation. ^ 4 dwg |
