In early spring after warming up soil in the ridge to the temperature of +2...+5°C the seedbed is created along the ridge in its basis. The seedbed has the form of cylindrical surface with bulge in the direction of the ridge's top. Planting of the seed onion and planting onion is performed in the top of the centre of equilateral (regular) hexagon. Long radius of regular hexagon is equal to average diameter of the seedling of chosen hybrid of onion breed. After planting the seedlings are covered with the layer of granulated soil from the ridge. The topsoil gets compacted creating equidistant surface in the seedbed. The flexible drip line is put over compacted top of the ridge.
