Zusammenfassung:FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics. ^ SUBSTANCE: while preparing a cotyloid cavity before introducing the cement and applying a cotyloid component in cavitary bottom it is necessary to form a foramen of 3 mm diameter, not more that penetrates the cavity of small pelvis; cotyloid component should be applied due to steady pressing it into the cavity, moreover, with the part of cement that comes through the prepared foramen one should form a mushroom-shaped cap along internal surface of cotyloid cavity to create additional fixing anti-rotation moment; arrangement of a femoral component should be fulfilled according to conventional technique. The innovation provides firmer mechanical fixation of cotyloid component due to creating additional anti-rotation moment due to mushroom-shaped cap developed with the cement entering small pelvis being beyond osseous limits. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency. ^ 2 dwg, 1 ex
