OIL FILTER TWO-SECTION FILTERING ELEMENT

FIELD: mechanical engineering; oil cleaning. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in oil filters of internal combustion engines, compressors and different-type hydraulic systems. Filtering element of oil filter has two sections. First section consists of synthetic textured three thread wound at variable force onto section of common central tube limited by upper end face and separating covers to form volume-capillary filtering curtain. Second section consists of synthetic textured thread wound at variable force onto section of common central tube limited by lower end face and separating covers to form volume capillary filtering curtain with fineness of filtration lower than that of first section and higher hydraulic resistance. Tube is either made perforated or is provided with channels on outer side. Filtering element is located in filter housing which can be furnished with bypass valve. Filter housing can be made detachable or nondetachable. ^ EFFECT: provision of filtering element which is easy to manufacture and is not expensive. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg
