FIELD: chemistry of organoelemental compounds, chemical technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention describes novel organogermanic compounds with an organic acid, namely, novel water-soluble citric acid salts of tricyclic organogermanic derivatives of triethanolamine, i. e. 1-substituted 1-germa-2,8,9-trioxa-5-azatricyclo[3.3.3]undecanium citrates, and their synthesis in aqueous solutions. Invention provides expanding knowledge about structure of germatranes with organic acids, expanding classes of germatrane compounds and providing the high yield of the end products of high purity (95-98%). Novel salts show biological activity, possess the broad spectrum of effect and can be used as novel agents in pharmacotherapy, medicine, medicinal and food industry, children's nutrition, water treatment, cosmetology, perfumery and stomatology. ^ EFFECT: novel and valuable properties of compounds. ^ 3 cl, 2 tbl, 5 ex
