DEVICE FOR MEASUREMENT ELECTRIC SPECIFIC RESISTANCE OF EARTH

FIELD: power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device can be used for pre-project research at construction of power engineering objects and electric current transmission lines. Device is made in form of dielectric tube, which has edge of lower base equipped with current electrode having saw-formed teeth. Device is mounted in vertical and it is submerged into Earth. In this case electrically isolated ground sample is formed, onto which sample the measurements are carried out without extracting sample out of ground and out of device. Device has row of potential electrodes disposed inside tube. The electrodes make contact with ground sample at different levels. Device allows determining specific resistance of any separate ground sample as well as average resistance of layer of ground for the total depth of submersion. ^ EFFECT: widened functional abilities and areas of application; reduced labor input; improved precision of measurement; environment protection. ^ 2 dwg
