Zusammenfassung:FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely steel production processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of melting steel in steel melting aggregate; discharging steel into ladle and killing steel by means of carbon and silicon at using carbon and silicon simultaneously. Silicon and 65% of total quantity of carbon designed for killing are used in the form of silicon carbide base alloy while relation of carbon and silicon in killing composition is in rage 0.44 - 0.85. ^ EFFECT: low degree of metal oxidation at killing steel, lowered content of non-metallic inclusions in steel.
