LARGE-SIZED RADIAL WASTE WATER SETTLER

FIELD: settling equipment for separation of suspended undissolved agents, mainly of organic nature from waste water. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed settler has cylindrical reservoir with circular passage in its bottom, central supply pipe with distributor in form of round colonnade supporting the water-repellent roof above central supply pipe. Device for mechanical removal of sediment includes above-water part in form of bridge with swivel support and traveling carriage and underwater part with suspension secured to center part of bridge and two groups of scrapers. Settler is provided with upper and lower groups of radial beams fastened together by means of studs, thus forming the framework. Water-repellent roof is located in this framework. Each column is provided with metal support. Center of mass of underwater part is shifted relative to vertical plane of symmetry of bridge. ^ EFFECT: increased carrying capacity of concrete part of structure; reduced bending moment. ^ 3 dwg
