Zusammenfassung:FIELD: recirculation of dust and slime obtained in metallurgical plants where cast iron is produced with use of non-coking coal and iron-ore fines. ^ SUBSTANCE: zinc component contained in dust and slime is extracted by evaporation in apparatus having feed hoppers, agitator, granulator, dryer, shaft furnace and hot screen. Said hoppers are designed for accumulating and feeding dust and slime after their dehumidification, drying and disintegration, binder and iron-ore fines to be further agitated in agitator. Granulator provides coagulation of mixed initial materials supplied from agitator for producing pellets of predetermined size to be dried in drier. Shaft furnace is coupled with melting-gas generation furnace through gas duct and it is designed for receiving pellets from drier and for evaporating zinc component contained in pellets. Hot closed screen sieves reduced iron pellets by large-size and small-size ones and selectively feeds sieved pellets to melting-gas generation furnace and to briquetting installation. ^ EFFECT: lowered cost of slime processing process, prevention of environment contamination. ^ 11 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
