FORGED WORKING ROLL FOR ROLLING SHEET METAL

FIELD: plastic working of metal. ^ SUBSTANCE: in body of roll there are odd number of uniformly spaced one from other through openings communicated along ends of roll barrel with collecting cavities formed by means of cup like sealed lids. The last are communicated through radial ducts of drive side with central inlet duct for cooling agent. Central cavity passes along the whole non-driven journal and it is divided from central duct by means of beaded sleeve and sealing. Minimum distance between barrel surface and inner surfaces of through openings and distance between inner surfaces of through openings itself are no more than diameter of through opening. ^ EFFECT: increased active surface area of contact of cooling agent with metal of roll barrel, maximally possibly approaching of said surface area to surface area of roll barrel at keeping stable resilient characteristics of barrel. ^ 3 dwg
