TWO-WAY OPERATION RETAINING AND REGULATING STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF ITS ERECTION

FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly fixed barrages. ^ SUBSTANCE: structure includes flexible apron secured to base, upper retaining and regulating wall with front holding plate, flexible side wings, vertical wall for damping overflowing stream energy, flexible toe pier and flexible tiers, lower supporting and regulating wall with corresponding front plate. Flexible apron is secured to base by ground-filled anchors and connected to them by flexible ties. Flexible toe pier is secured to flexible apron center by rigid tie. Method of above structure erection involves producing flexible apron, flexible toe pier, upper retaining and regulating wall with front holding wall, flexible side wings and vertical wall; preparing trench for flexible toe pier laying; mounting structure members on flexible apron installed in waterway bed with the use of rigid ties; producing lower retaining and adjusting wall and corresponding front holding plate; mounting thereof on flexible apron; forming pits in structure erection area for ground-filled anchors laying; connecting ground-filled anchors with flexible apron; forming orifice in flexible apron area; inserting toe pier into above orifice during toe pier installation in prepared trench. ^ EFFECT: possibility to regulate water levels in head and tail races, improved operational convenience. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg
