AUTOMATIC COUPLER SHANK HEATING UNIT

FIELD: process equipment of car repair shops. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed unit designed for heating areas of coupler shanks prior to straightening them has its inductive coil secured so that its internal surface is equally spaced from heat insulation of housing on all four edges. Enclosed circular slit space formed in this way is used for forced passage of air flow designed to protect inductive coil from heat penetrating from coupler shank area heated to 800 - 850°C through housing and heat insulation and to discharge it into the atmosphere together with air. Proposed design solution enables heater connection to commercial-frequency 220 - 380 V supply mains. ^ EFFECT: greatly enhanced productivity of heating unit. ^ 1 cl, 3 dwg
