One of the rollers is a support- driven and another one is a pressing roller. The device has a power drive for motion. The shredder of the tire covers is made in the form of a drum with inserted cutters mounted as cantilevers on its outer cylindrical surface in the order providing serial interaction of the cutters in the comminution process with a part of a tire cover, gripped by the mechanism of compression and delivery of the tire cover in the zone of comminution.
