SUBSTANCE: invention concerns degreasing composition as well as liquid, gel, and foam based thereon, which are suitable for degreasing and deactivating surfaces, especially metallic surfaces, such as surfaces of equipment, installations, and floors at irradiated nuclear fuel processing plants. Composition includes base with hydroxide ion concentration 0.1 to 1.5 mole/l, 0.01 to 1.5 wt % of polyethoxylated saturated or unsaturated fatty alcohol; 0.025 to 1.5 wt % of ethylene oxide/propylene oxide copolymer; and water.
