description FIELD: composite materials. SUBSTANCE: graphite is treated with liquid to produce intercalated fluorinated graphite compound. Product is successively treated with acetone, chloroform, and chloroform solution of palladium acetylacetonate resulting in intercalated compound of fluorinated graphite with palladium acetylacetonate. Product is reduced with hydrogen in tubular reactor at 500 C to produce nanocomposite graphite-Pd containing 6.7 wt % Pd with particle size 20-50 and 92.7 wt % graphite. As starting compounds for preparing nanocomposite fluorinated graphite-metal compounds materials, intercalated fluorinated graphite compounds containing metal compounds are heated in hydrogen flow to 200 C. As starting compounds, one can also use intercalated fluorinated graphite compounds with metal-free inorganic or organic compounds and reduce them with hydrazine hydrate in aqueous solutions of metal compounds. When aqueous solutions of metal salts with inorganic or organic acids are used, nanocomposite graphite-metal salt materials are used. Invention may be used in preparation of catalysts and reagents for inorganic and organic syntheses. EFFECT: simplified process and enlarged assortment of nanocomposite materials based on graphite and fluorinegraphite matrices. 5 cl, 7 ex
