According to proposed method liquid sampler is placed in main pipeline and is connected with main pipe line by means of bypass pipeline, part of flow is pumped under action of gauge pressure through sampler and bypass pipeline series-connected with sampler. Bypass pipeline is connected by channel with automatic sampler. Sample of liquid is taken by automatic sampler from this channel. Manual sampling of liquid from flow in bypass pipeline can also by provided. Piping of members is made to meet condition of increase of pressure drop in channel connected bypass pipeline with automatic as compared with pressure drop created by velocity head of flow in bypass pipeline. Device for taking samples of liquid contains sampler installed in main pipeline, bypass pipeline series-connected with sampler, disperser, manual sampler installed on bypass pipeline, automatic sampler, and sample collector. Disperser and manual sampler are installed behind automatic sampler in direction of flow in bypass channel on condition of increase of pressure drop across sampler.
