Zusammenfassung:FIELD: separation methods in applied chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of mutually soluble liquids, for instance extraction mixtures, for use in different applications. 75-100% formic acid is used as organic displacer and kerosene fraction is subjected to retreatment with formic acid in amount 20-30% of the volume of chloride to be separated. Treated mixture is split into kerosene and formic acid. Prior to be retreated with formic acid, kerosene fraction is treated with alkali to neutralize formic acid.
