SUBSTANCE: the drier with fluidized bed has a vertical casing separated by gas-distributing non-collapsible grid plates into steplike arranged annular chambers communicating with one another through interspersing windows in the grid plates and having in each of them radial partitions separating the above-bed cavity of the chambers into two sections, the lower chamber is connected to the gas-feeding duct and separated by vertical partitions into two compartment corresponding to the chamber sections; the novelty is in the fact that additional radial partitions are installed in each chamber section separating together with the available partitions the whole above-bed cavity into an even number of sections uniformly arranged in the circumference. The gas-feeding duct is also separated by additional vertical partitions into compartments corresponding to the chamber sections, designed for gas feeding and discharge at a preset temperature. The interspersing windows in the grid plate are arranged in the same vertical plane without any shift one relative to another and provided with inclined chutes for transmission of material from the "cold" section to the "hot" one. The vertical partitions located above the fluidized bed are installed for adjusting the distance between their lower edge4 and the non-collapsible gas- distributing grid plate. EFFECT: enhanced quality of finished product and enhanced capacity of the drier due to intensification of heat- exchange and mass-transfer processes and positioning of a greater number of radial partitions in the same volume of the apparatus. 2 cl, 4 dwg
