METHOD OF INHIBITION OF THERMAL POLYMERIZATION OF VINYLAROMATIC HYDROCARBONS AND UNSATURATED COMPONENTS OF PYROLYSIS LIQUID PRODUCTS

FIELD: organic chemistry, polymers, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical technology of monomers and polymers, namely, to method of inhibition of thermal polymerization of vinylaromatic hydrocarbons and unsaturated components of liquid products of pyrolysis by addition of tert.-butylpyrocatechin-containing inhibitory composition. Invention proposes to use inhibitory composition comprising additionally copper diethyldithiocarbamate. Consumption of inhibitory composition for vinylaromatic hydrocarbons is 0.025-0.030 wt.-% in the consumption of copper diethyldithiocarbamate 0.0045-0.01 wt.-% and consumption of inhibitory composition for unsaturated components of pyrolysis liquid products is 0.020-0.025 wt.-% in the consumption of copper diethyldithiocarbamate 0.005-0.01 wt.-%. Method provides enhancement of inhibition process in processing both individual vinylaromatic hydrocarbons and mixtures of unsaturated components of liquid products of pyrolysis.
