Deviation signal is stored in binary code. Simultaneously, deviation measurement error is noted. Reference magnitudes of definite calibration chart are compared with accurate magnitude of deviation of measurement and number of magnitude at which difference is minimum is revealed. According to said number, respective magnitude of wear in physical units is selected from permanent storage unit. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities; enhanced accuracy. 3 dwg
