Positioned in the space between the piston and shell is either a pusher in the form of a developed section of the piston, or liquid. The minimum diameter of the annular bulge may exceed the shell caliber. The elements of the outer and inner lateral surfaces of the piston annular bulge may be inclined to one side. The mentioned elements may be inclined to the side opposite the pitch slope. The cut-outs in the piston annular bulge may be made in the form of radially oriented grooves on the side of its end face. The grooves may be V-shaped with a contraction in the direction from the end face of the piston annular bulge.
