Proposed rotor support system has housing, rotor and number of unloading chambers arranged on part of cross perimeter between surfaces of housing and rotor. Chambers are enclosed and are placed in communication with high and low pressure spaces. Each chamber is placed in communication with high pressure space by closed communication channel through throttle channel of supply governor, and with low pressure space through throttle channel of drain governor. Each unloading chamber is sealed over its entire perimeter. Throttle channels of governors are made in form of nozzle-gate throttles. EFFECT: reduced load on bearing units by changing pressure of working medium spaces surrounding the rotor. 24 cl, 23 dwg
