Impeller is made in form of disk secured on shaft; disk is provided with blades which have openings following the shape of projection of lower portion of chamber; they are located at spaced relation to projection. Chamber is vortex and is provided with tangential passage. Clearance between shaft and upper end wall of chamber is lesser than height of inner cavity of chamber by several times. Width of circular clearance between shaft and lower portion of chamber exceeds height of inner cavity of chamber. Projection is formed by conical nozzle; angle at edge of projection is lesser than or equal to 90 deg. proposed unit is ease in service and efficient in suppression foam letting no foam escape from reservoir; unit performs dual purpose: separation of foam and washing of inner part of apparatus.
