Process is characterized by that the distillation column is operated at pressure 2 to 10 bar and temperature from 20 to 180 C. Mixture is passed through several in-series disposed zones with structured metal sheet inserts or charge beds arranged within the column, from which at least one zone is connected to a water source. Water functions as ethylene oxide-miscible fire- extinguishing means, which raises pressure in the column by 0.01 to 4 bar. EFFECT: optimized process parameters. 8 cl, 1 dwg
