Planks are moved transverse to loom by leverage system equipped with program control unit. Reed is made in the form of comb rigidly fixed on lay for horizontal, rocking and reciprocating motion. Lay is kinematically connected with one of movable planks of gap-forming mechanism and with lay drive mechanism. Loom of such construction allows fabrics with improved tensile, tear and wear strength and increased air-permeability to be manufactured. EFFECT: simplified construction, wider range and improved quality of fabric manufactured by means of loom. 3 cl, 6 dwg
