SUBSTANCE: method consists in that powder of fluoroplastic F2M is activated by preliminary pressing by blasting with speed of metal hammer of 240-450 m/s and ratio of its specific density to sum of specific densities of steel shield, upper punch and layer of pressed powder amounting to 1.12-2.55. Pressed material is dissolved in dimethylformamide and obtained solution is applied in, at least, two layers to heated article. In so doing, the first layer is applied at temperature of 320-350 C, and subsequent layers are applied at temperature of 230-270 C. Technical result of claimed method is development of anew technology of formation and application of polymer powder of fluoroplastic F2M and its placing into assembled metal container with its subsequent actuation in process of blast pressing, dissolving and application of activated polymer solution to metal surfaces. Offered method provides for production of coatings with high strength of polymer cohesion to metal of metal articles with smooth (undeveloped) working surface for protection of surfaces of high-precision articles operating under conditions of static and sign- variable dynamic loads.
